From a special section of the Waldron News newspaper of 23 April 1981, consisting of interviews of Scott County citizens 80 Years of age and over. The interviews were done as part of a celebration of the Bank of Waldron's 80th anniversary.

ELMO SIMS

Elmo Sims was born on February 8, 1896, making him 85 years old. He has lived in Waldron for 18 years. His church affiliation is Baptist. His children are Verna Blackwell of Pawhuska, Okla., Lloyd Sims and Gracie Crownover of Heavener, Okla., Hershal of Waldron, Patsy Elder of Wister, Okla. and Glenda Elder of Muskogee, Okla.
