VESTER HUTCHENS
Vester Hutchens was born October 25, 1923 at Pilot Prairie in Scott County, Arkansas to Lola Ballard
Hutchens and Arch Hutchens. With the exception of four years spent in Wyoming, Vester has always lived
in Scott County. He went to school at Waldron. A memorable event in his life was the day he married
Dorothy Ferguson, the daughter of Maude and Tom Ferguson. Vester has always been self-employed, raising
truck crops, hogs and cattle. Children born to Dorothy and Vester are Vestal Lee, Lou Ella Brigance,
Mary Francis Hargrove, Georgana Parsons, Areh Edward and Claudia Michelle Travis. They attend the Church
of the Nazarene. Most week days they can be found at the Senior Citizens Center.
