This picture was taken at the original Brown homestead in northern Scott County. Elizabeth Faulkenberry-Ashcraft-Brown with husband John Calvin (Jon Calvin Braun) Brown. Baby is their grandson, Johnnie Brown, son of Grover and Hazel Brown of Mansfield. They are the parents of Grover Brown. The Brown's moved from Greenridge, Arkansas to Mansfield to begin a cotton ginning business. John Calvin immigrated to the United States from Switzerland. Picture 1922 (circa)
