BRUSHY CEMETERY

(Also known as the Newman Cemetery or Shores Cemetery)

South from Waldron on State Highway 71. Just past Needmore, turn left on Highway 28 East, approximately 5 miles to the Parks community. Turn left on Brushy Creek Road. At the “Y” go left; at the “T” go right. This cemetery is not visible from the road. It is on the left about 7 miles from Parks and has been abandoned. Surveyed and digitally photographed 3 September 2004 by Delaine, Bob and David Edwards.
