JAMES MATTHEW DICKERSON & WIFE
VERNELLA (GARDENHIRE) DICKERSON
This is James Matthew Dickerson and his wife Vernella
(Gardenhire) Dickerson. Matt (1836- aft 1880) and Vernella (about
1836-1925) were parents of Mary E. (Dickerson) Taylor who married Berry
Taylor in 1878. Vernella married Charles W. Slawson in 1905 and is
buried in French Prairie Cemetery, Logan Co., AR under that name except
the name is spelled incorrectly (Slaucion). These photos are reprints
made from old tin types owned by the Benny Brigance family.
