Mark Metcher Harris, Metcher, Birdie and Delia - 1896
The Harris family was living in Vanoss, Oklahoma when Amanda Cordelia (Wynn) Harris died of tuberculosis, leaving Mark Metcher Harris a widower with three small children. This photograph was probably taken shortly after her death. Later, the family moved to Scott County Arkansas where Birdie married James C. Cash in 1910. Mark Metcher Harris never remarried.Contributed by Joyce Fleming
