Pictured above is Fred Herrin, who was born 8 February 1905 and died 13 October 1973 at Cedar Creek. Alfred Frederick "Fred" was a son of John Lucien Herrin (2 January 1870 - 29 March 1945) and Mary McDowell. Mary was born about 1878 and probably died before 1912. Fred Herrin married Ruby Bertha Allen and their children were Billy Ray Herrin, Lora Mae "Rose" Herrin, Gary W. Herrin and Larry Allen Herrin.
