Pictured above is William R. Allen, son of Pleasant and Serepta Jane Allen. The Allens were early settlers of the Cedar Creek area. William R. Allen was born 8 February 1880 and died in the 1920s. He married Henrietta "Nina" Forga on 27 January 1909 and their children were Cornie (Allen) Carter, Ruby Bertha (Allen) Herrin and Durward "Dick" Allen.
