RENA GRIGSBY
Written on the back of this photo is "Rena Grigsby."
She is the Renia Grigsby, born 3 March 1894 and died 28 January 1967, sharing a double
tombstone at Howe Cemetery in LeFlore County, Oklahoma with Archie David Grigsby, born 14
January 1894 and died 10 June 1953.
A Grigsby family researcher, Glen Davis has provided
information that Rena was a daughter of Canada E. and Sarah J. Wycoff, who are found on the 1910 Scott County
census living in Cedar Township. The family had evidently just arrived from West Virginia.
Archie was a son of James Monroe Grigsby and Martha Jane Holsonback, who were living in
Cedar Township of Scott County in 1900. James Monroe was a son of James M. Grigsby and
Catherine Rosanna Herrin.
