EARL'S CAFE

This restaurant was located in Waldron, Arkansas and was owned and operated by my grandfather, Earl Reeves McGaugh. It was known locally for it's chili and also for it's "double header." This was kind of a combination of chili and soup, with just about anything you can think of in it. My dad said they sold a lot of it during the depression because it was pretty much a complete meal. I think the price was a nickel.
