Benjamin Morrow's 65th Birthday

This picture was taken on my grandfather's 65th Birthday in June of 1953 in Nola at their home. Front row standing up is Ben Morrow; I believe the two little girls are Marion Jean Morrow and Patricia Morrow [daughters of Kip and Imogene Morrow], my parents Edith [Phillips] Morrow, and Charlie Morrow, Oneida Morrow Neighbors and Raymond Neighbors. Sitting on the porch swing on the left is my grandmother, Ollie Morrow and her son Bill Morrow. Back row is Ollie Mae Morrow, [daughter of Kip and Imogene]; Pauline Morrow [wife of Bill]; Kip Morrow and Imogene Morrow.

Benjamin Allen MORROW was born June 20, 1888 in Olio, Scott County, Arkansas and died April 3, 1974 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, buried Parks Cemetery at Nola. He married Ollie Clementine HARRIS September 1, 1907 in Scott County, Arkansas. She was born May 5, 1891 in Scott County, Arkansas and died February 17, 1961 in Scott County, Arkansas, buried Parks Cemetery at Nola. Her parents were Robert M. (Matthew) HARRIS and Laura Bell JOURNEY. Ben and Ollie Morrow had the following children:

1) Geneva MORROW, born October 14, 1908 in Scott County Arkansas and died November 24, 1910 in Nola, Scott County Arkansas of Influenza, buried Parks Cemetery at Nola.

2) Jossie MORROW, born March 25, 1910 in Scott County Arkansas and died June 12, 1911 in Nola, Scott County Arkansas, buried at Parks Cemetery at Nola.

3) Charles Matthew MORROW, born April 4, 1912 in Nola, Scott County, Arkansas and died October 9, 1999 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, buried Memorial Park Cemetery Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married Nancy Edith PHILLIPS December 22, 1936 in Jasper, Newton County, Arkansas. She was born February 3, 1919 in Jasper, Newton County, Arkansas. She is still living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents were Roscoe Conklin PHILLIPS and Angieline TENNISON. They had four children.

4) Clifton "Kip" MORROW, born June 16, 1914 in Nola, Scott County, Arkansas and died 1985 in Oklahoma, buried Bixby Cemetery. He married Imogene BEYARD March 18, 1938 in Scott County Arkansas. She was born about 1919. She is living in Bixby, Oklahoma. Her parents were Elihue BAYRD/BEYARD and Effie Mae MARTIN. They had seven children.

5) Oneida MORROW, born1917 in Nola, Scott County Arkansas. She married Jesse Raymond NEIGHBORS December 28, 1935 in Scott County Arkansas. She was born about 1910 in Gravelly, Yell County Arkansas. Her parents were Henry Lafayette NEIGHBORS and Ollie Pearl LESLIE. They are both living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had two daughters.

6) Bill MORROW, born August 13, 1919 in Nola, Scott County Arkansas and died March 5, 1985 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, buried Parks Cemetery at Nola. He married Pauline D. JONES October 15, 1940 in Scott County, Arkansas. She was born February 24, 1924 in Yell County, Arkansas. She is living inTulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents were James Henry JONES and Sarah Emma BLAYLOCK.

7) Bruce (Robert Bruce) MORROW, born February 20, 1928 in Scott County Arkansas and died July 22, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, buried Parks Cemetery at Nola. He married Nettie Gean DUKE March 2, 1950 in Scott County Arkansas. She was born March 10, 1930 in Forester, Scott County, Arkansas and is living in Tulsa. They had four children.
