Above is a tintype of my Grandmother, Alma Thompson Poston, daughter of W. and Minerva Nichols Thompson Shelton. The envelope it was in states: Mamma at age 5. Alma was born Nov. 8, 1881. She married George W. Poston Aug. 21, 1905 in Scott County. They were enumerated in Blansett Township on the 1910 Scott County census.
