Pictured above are my grandparents, Thomas W. Prewitt and Mary Lou Alice Terry, "Woodie and Ludie." He was the son of Joseph Joel Pruett/Prewitt and Sarah Nancy Elizabeth Leatherwood, "Joe and Elizabeth." Elizabeth was the daughter of William A. Leatherwood and Martha J. Tate. Woodie and Ludie moved from Arkansas to Oklahoma. They later moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico and lived next to the Pecos River. Woodie was born March 12, 1878 in Scott County Arkansas. He died July 1973 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Ludie was born November 1888 in Scott County Arkansas. She died February 1968 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This picture was taken on or shortly after their wedding day, October 15, 1905.
