I thought some Scott Co. genealogists might be interested in this old picture that my cousins dug up in their mother's belongings. These are my great grandparents, George W. Scott [son of Peter Washington Scott and grandson of Thomas Hartford Scott and Martha Munday] and his wife Bertha Alta Hawkins [daughter of John Bell Hawkins and Sarah Sessions]. George W. Scott was born 5 January 1890 and died 10 November 1958. Bertha Alta Hawkins was born 25 December 1895 and died 20 November 1985. They were both born in Scott County and married here on 3 May 1914.
