Melissa Josephine Hisaw was born in Scott County AR in 1872. She was the daughter of Joel Coffey Hisaw
and Mahala Aveline Turner. She married Samuel R. Sherrill on January 16, 1890. Their children were Arthur,
Mary, Ola and Mildred. Melissa died in Scott County in 1956. She was my great-grandmother.
