While transcribing cemetery headstones and taking some photos to document the stones, I noticed a little broken stone. It was in about 5 separate pieces. As I put the pieces together, I realized this shared headstone was for the two little sisters of my great grandmother Mollie Hale. The stone was difficult to read, but it appeared to say:

Dora E. born Dec 12, 1873 and died July 28, 1881
Zora S. born Sept 23, 1877 and died Oct 18, 1885
Children of T. H. & P. E. Johnson - At Rest

On May 10, 2003 I installed the new stone pictured below for these two little girls.

Thomas & Emmarine Johnson Family First Generation

Thomas H. Johnson was the son of William Johnson and was born Arkansas March 9, 1852. Thomas died October 21, 1942 in Scott County, Arkansas, at 90 years of age.

He married Priscilla Emmarine Hutchinson Scott County, Arkansas in 1868. Priscilla was born in Franklin County, Alabama on November 29, 1853. Priscilla was the daughter of Isaac C. and A.J. Hutcheson. Emmarine died August 29, 1925 in Scott County, Arkansas, at 71 years of age. (Emmarine's name is spelled variously Emerine, Emmerine, and Emmarine. I've chosen to spell it Emmarine as that is how it is written in her daughter Mollie's Bible.)
