Lucy (Frost) Hawkins & Janis Hawkins Photo

PEGGY & HER LITTLE GIRL JANIS

I believe this is Lucy Frost (wife of Frank Hawkins, the son of John Bell Hawkins and Sarah Sessions.) The little girl is {I think} Janis Monett Hawkins Shipley. Janis was born in 1930 and married Harry Shipley (bread company guy). The back of this picture says, "Peggy and her little girl Janis." I have looked and looked and can't figure out who Peggy is. There are other pictures of Janis that look just like this girl and her mother was Lucy Frost. So maybe Peggy was a nickname? If anyone can enlighten me about this, please contact Jacki Vinson.
