Personally came before me, a Clerk of the Circuit Court, in and for the aforesaid county and State, Christopher C. Cole age thirty one years Post Office address Potter Arkansas

person of lawful age, who being duly sworn, declare in relation to the aforesaid case as follows:

The above named Louis Williams was my uncle. I went after him and his family who were then living in Yell County Arkansas in the year 1879 and moved them to my fathers home in Polk County Arkansas. He was sick when he came to our house. I thought he would die in the room after he came to my fathers house. I went for Doctor Morehead who was then practicing medicine in our neighborhood. He waited on him near one week perhaps a little over a week and my uncle the aforesaid Louis Williams died in this Polk County Arkansas. To the best of my recollection he died either in November or December 1879. I kept no records of his death therefore cannot give exact time. I was gone after the ____(maybe doctor) when he died but I helped bury him. At the time Doctor Morehead was practicing medicine here the law did not require physicians to register as the act of the legislature requiring such was not passed until 1881 and Doctor Morehead left the county before the law was passed.

I further declare that I have no interest in said case, and am not concerned in its prosecution.
