At this time, Dr. Collier gave his home address as Pine Bluff, Arkansas. On February 13, 1930 Dr Collier, then a resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was certified by the State Medical board of the Arkansas Medical Society. His listings in the Fort Smith Business Directory and the Fort Smith Telephone Directory, indicate that Dr. Collier practiced medicine in Fort Smith from 1933 to 1943 with offices first at 1215 No. Ninth, and later at 609 1/2 North 9th Street.
