Dr. John N. Dunn

Dr. John N. Dunn born in 1849(circa) in Logan County, Ohio, died April 29, 1927, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He attended Joplin College of Physicians and Surgeons, Joplin, 1875 and was examined and licensed in Scott County, Arkansas, by the Scott County Medical board, on the 8 the day of April 1884. Then on July 14, 1908, he was licensed by the Arkansas Medical Board. He gave his address at that time as Mena(Polk County), Arkansas. Then on the 6th day of July 1911, Dr. Dunn received certification from the Sebastian County Medical Board.

He fought in the Civil War in the 12tth Kansas Infantry; where he was injured and from then on, walked with a limp.
