Dr. A. H. Gordon
Dr. A.H. Gordon of Hackett, Arkansas, died, 31st of August 1896 in Hackett, Arkansas.
He was born in Tenneessee in 1850 to the late A.B. and Martha J. (Blassingame) Gordon.
His father was a farmer and did served in Forrest's Cavalry in the Civil War.
Dr. Gordon was the senior partner of the medical firm of Gordon and McGinty of Hackett, Arkansas.
He recieved his medical degree from Vanderbilt Univeristy. He had a large practice in Hackett.
He was a member of the medical examination board from 1882 till 1885. He was a member of the
I.O.O.F. Lodge; a master Workman of the A.O.U.W., and a member of the K of L. He was a known Democrat.
