Bradford E Meadows born March 2, 1862 at Big Flat, Baxter County, the son of David Meadows and Ellan McMahon and died November 8, 1909 of Typhoid. He is buried at Paw Paw, I.T.

When 19 years old, he went to Kansas, spent one year, returned to Big Flat, taught School three years, then read medicine under Dr. J. D. Ware; took a course of lectures in Little Rock Medical School and secured a certificate to practice medicine, January 1889. Dr. Meadows practiced medicine at Akron and Mansfield, Arkansas; Braden, Paw Paw, and Muldrow, Oklahoma; then attended Barnes Medical College, St. Louis, Missouri in 1899, and graduated from that school in 1900. He returned to Braden, Oklahoma, practiced medicine until 1906, and moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas where he practiced until his death. October 4, 1892.
