John Johnston Beggs 1870-1927 John J. Beggs was born January 7, 1870 in Illinois to Samuel Bell & Sarah Jane Hale Beggs. February 22, 1891 he married Susie E Roddin in Sebastian Co., Ar. By 1900 he is single. April 24, 1901 he married Bertha A. Biard at Huntington, Sebastian Co., Ar. where they both resided. His 3rd wife was Pearl Cheek. On the 1920 ensus he was 47 and she was 17. Ho children yet. They did have 2 daughter before he p assed away. John served with the US Army until October 25, 1898 as a Cpl. with Co D 1st Ark Inf September 19, 1927 John passed away in Diamond Twsp., Sebastian Co., Ar His burial was at Huntington Cemetery in Huntington, Sebastian Co., Ar.
