Jack Lee Hunter 1931 - 2006 Jack Lee Hunter was born March 23, 1931 at Brownsville, Cameron Co., Texas to Fredrick "Fred" Lee & Della Margorie Arnoldus Hunter. By 1940 the family was located at Beverly Twsp., Sebastian Co., Ar. December 21, 1955 he married Bessie Freeman in Franklin Co., Arkansas. He resided at Lavaca, Sebastian Co, Ar and she resided at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. No military draft cards have been found for Jack. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps September 7, 1948 and served until January 5, 1955 during the Korean War. His final rank was SSgt. Jack passed away October 22, 2006 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. His burial was in Hickory Ridge Cemetery at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. =========================================== Jack Lee Hunter's parents were Fred Hunter & Della Arnoldus Hunter.
