Wilborn Lee Wilson was born June 3, 1933 in Corning, Arkansas to late Clarence Wilson and Leathel Thelma Ermert Wilson.April 7, 1955 he married Shelby Jean Knox.

Wilborn served during the Korean War. No exact dates have been found.

Wilborn passed away July 2, 2015. His buial was in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.

Wilborn Lee Wilson, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his home. He was born June 3, 1933 in Corning, Arkansas to the late Clarence Wilson and Leathel Thelma (Ermert) Wilson. He was 82 years old.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean (Knox) Wilson; two grandsons, Heath Allen Weaver and Derek Wayne Weaver.

Wilborn worked for Herman Hobbs Construction Company in Lavaca. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a deacon and a member of Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church.

Graveside service "With Military Honors" will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7th, at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, with the Rev. Buddy Corbell officiating.

He is survived by one daughter, Sheila Deaton of Lavaca; three sons, Bill Wilson and wife Ramona of Central City, Gary Wilson and wife LeJuan of Mulberry, and Ricky Wilson and wife Sandi of Lavaca; three sisters, Lorene Brown of St. Louis, Missouri, Melveida Hays of Corning, Arkansas, and Elaine "Snookie" Oglesby of Paduka, Kentucky; one brother, Leslie Wilson of Kibler; (9) grandchildren, Kenny Weaver and wife Christy, Kristy King, Anthony Whitman and wife Jamie, Kendra Wright, Cody Wilson and wife Jessica, Scotty Wilson, Amber Ingle, Levi Wilson, and Shelby Nichols and husband Jessy; (14) great-grandchildren; (2) great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Weaver, Cody Wilson, Scotty Wilson, Levi Wilson, Jessy Nichols, and Roger Deaton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter King and the Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church family.
