Geames A Wooten was born August 2, 1935 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Aaron Clifford & Gladys Rae Craig Wooten. September 1, 1962 he married Eunice Lorine "Lori" Baker.

From 1954 - 1958 he served with the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Nothing more is known about his service.

Geames passed away February 27, 2011 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His burial was at Park Grove Cemetery, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Geames A. Wooten, 75, of Broken Arrow, died Feb, 27, 2011, at Oklahoma City, Okla.

Services were held March 2, at the Church of Christ at Whispering Hills, Broken Arrow, under the direction of Christian-Gavlik Funeral Home. Burial was at Park Grove Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 2, 1935, At Lavaca, Ark., to Aaron and Gladys (Craig) Wooten. He was a 1954 graduate of Lavaca High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958. He was an aircraft mechanic.

Wooten married Eunice Lorine "Lori" Baker on Sept. 1, 1962. He was a member of the Church of Christ where he served as an elder for many years.

Wooten is survived by his wife, Lori, of the home; children Craig Wooten of Broken Arrow and Tracy Jowers and husband Kenneth of Burleson, Texas; half-brother Jerry C. Wooten of Houston, Texas; step-brother Jimmy Ford of Shreveport, La.; and one grandchild.

The Center for advanced Ministry Training, Formerly Harding School of Preaching, P.O. Box 12236, Searcy, AR 72149, has been designated by the family as an appropriate charity to honor Wooten.
