James Edward "Ed" Bitticks was born June 7, 1927 at El Paso, Texas to Charles Absolem & Dollie Mae Clayton Bitticks. September 5, 1946 he married Madeline Berniece Mosley. at El Paso. They divorced but no date has been found. March 10, 1952 a marriage license was issured in Alamogordo, Texas for J. E. Bitticks of Alamogordo and Belly Todd from El Paso, Texas. They divorced in September 1954 in El Paso Co., Texas. He married a third time but no record has been found.

Ed served in the US Navy during WWII. No dates are known. His final rank was S1.

Ed passed away March 27, 2017 at his home in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. His burial was in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Sebasian Co. AR.

Ed Bitticks, 89, of Lavaca, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in his home. He was retired from the Civil Service, member of the Scottish Rites and 32 degree Mason, a Shriner, member of the Lavaca Assembly of God Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 27 at the Lavaca First Assembly of God Church with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery with military honor under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife, Lynelle Bitticks of the home, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Bitticks and his daughter, Darla Susan Clay.
