1947 Roy Stuart Dodd was born July 19, 1921 in Cole Township, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Peter Oliver & May Otta Jones Dodd. January 13, 1946 he married Eva Mae Price, both being residents of Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. at that time. April 9, 1941 Roy enlisted in the US Army Air Corps at Little Rock, Arkansas. Nothing more is known about his service. Roy Stuart Dodd passed away June 1, 2008 in Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. and was buried in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. Roy S. Dodd, 86, of Van Buren died Sunday, June 1, 2008, in a local hospital. He was a retired computer operator for Amoco Oil Company, worked at Dodd Mattress Factory in Van Buren for 20 years, had attended the Bible Missionary Church in Fort Smith and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Mainard; four brothers, Earl, Owen, Olen and Clifford Dodd; and his parents, May Otta and Peter Dodd.
