Cleveland Alonza Durham
1916-2009

Cleveland Alonzo "Bob" Durham was born July 2 1916 in Bloomer, Sebastian Co., Arkansas to Lorenzo Mansfield Durham & Minnie Ann Moore Durham. I have no marriage information for him.

Cleveland registered for the military draft on October 16, 1940 at Belle Pointe School in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co. Ar. August 7, 1942 he enlisted in the US Army at Little Rock, Ar. He states he has a post-graduate education. His enlistmate date is a bit different between the Vet. Death Files of August 21, 1942 and his Enlistment papers showing August 7, 1942.

I found this note....no source for it. "World War II Army veteran. He served in the battles and campaigns of Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Ardennes, was awarded four Bronze Stars for these campaigns, as well as the European African Middle East."
