Milo Ferguson was born 28 Sep 1912 in Huntington, Sebastian Co., Ar. to William Walker & Viola "Ola" Beatrice Payne Ferguson. Milo grew up in Dayton, Sebastian Co. Ar., farming.

He registerd for the military draft on 16 Oct 1940 at Dayton, Sebastian Co., Ar. and enlisted in the US Army February 14, 1941. His record shows that he enlisted as a Private, he had completed Grammer school and did general farm work.

His death, November 27, 1943, is in the following reports:
"World War II Hospital Admission Card Files"
Diagnosis says:
"Drowning, accidental;
Causative Agent: Diving: swimming.
Injured in Line of Duty."

Burial Place: Honolulu Memorial. Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii,
Honolulu Memorial is "A structure erected in honor of someone whose remains lie elsewhere."

This is Milo Ferguson. He was the brother of my great grandmother, Clara Nichols. Not much is known about him other than his attendance in the local church choir. He was a Private during the war and died in 1943, presumably on the way overseas. Below are a few photos of Milo with his brother Bernard and sisters Clara and Lucille. Hopefully this will be helpful to someone here, and if not, I hope it was at least informative!
