Aaron Odell Fry was born March 18, 1922 in Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar. to John Wesley & Maude Chaney Fry. Aaron married Katherine D Greve but no marriage date has been found. Her burial was in the Ft Smith National Cemetery as well as his.

Odell enlisted in the Air Force October 17, 1942 at Little Rock, Ar. His Army enlistment record says he was assigned to the Medical Administraive Corps. His occupation when he enlisted was "Skilled compositors and typesetters." His rank was Sgt. After his service he was employed by Weldon-Williams & Lick in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co. Ar., a printing company.

Aaron Odell Fry passed away August 18, 2011 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. His burial was at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ar.

Aaron Odell Fry, 89 of Ft. Smith passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011. He was born March 18, 1922 in Charleston to the late J.W. Fry and Maude Chaney Fry.

He was supervisor of Order and Planning at Weldon, Williams, and Lick for 39 years. He graduated from the University of Arkansas. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, August 22nd at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Udell, sisters Gladys and Charlene, and close relative Wayne Weir.

He is survived by his wife Katherine of the home, two nieces, two great-nieces, close relatives Joy Weir of Little Rock and Faye Weir of Ft. Smith. The family would like to honor caretakers Carol Jetton, Veronica Galdamez and Karen Bates.

Pallbearers will be J.B. Wells, and Don White.
