March 25, 1949 Gerald married Louwanda Jean Daggatt, both residing at Greenwood, Ar. June 30, 1942 Gerald registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. No further information is found about his service except what is found on the application for a military headstone. He enlisted May 26, 1943 in the US Navy where he served as a Seaman 1st Class. His discharge date was January 28, 1946. Gerald R. Gann passed away April 13, 1968. His burial was at Liberty Cemetery at Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.
