Armon Rogers Graham

Armon Rogers Graham was born August 4, 1912 at Cherry Hill, Perry Co. Arkansas to Francis Marion & Lena Elizabeth Rogers Graham. While living in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. Armon married Lacy Deloris Nix from Arkoma, Leflore, Oklahoma on June 1, 1942 in Sebastian Co., Ar.

Armon registered for the military draft Oct 16, 1940 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. which is where he states he is living and states that he was born there. The stamp on his card is from Board B in Sebastian Co., Ar. The Registrar says he is the registrar for a place in the state of Nevada. He enlisted in the US Army April 9, 1943 at Little Rock, Arkansas. On his enlistment record he states he has a grammar school education and his occupation is Farm Hands, general farms. He served in the Signal Corps. In January 1944 his was admitted to the US Hospital. His treatment was for disease, not injury and it existed prior to his service. His diagnosis was withheld by NARA. He was discharged in March 13, 1944, serving 11 months.

Armon Rogers Gramham passed away October 31, 1996 and is buried at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
