Virginia enlisted in the US Army Womens Army Corps on March 20, 1945 at Camp Chaffee in Fort Smith, Ar. She states her civil occupation was "Barbers, beauticians, and manicurists" and she had completed 4 years of high school. Virginia Lee Hackler Western passed away at Carson City, Nevada, on July 4, 2007. Her burial was in Imperial Memorial Gardens at Pueblo, Pueblo Co., Colorado.
