Curtis Albert Hannah, Sr. was born May 16, 1919 in Burnville, Sebastian County, Ar, to Albert Washington "Bud" & Thelma Christine McAlister Hannah Jr. July 2, 1938 in Sebastian, Arkansas, Curtis married Frances Mae Vodishek.

October 16, 1940 Curtis registered for the military draft at Jenny Lind, Sebastian Co., Ar. At that time
Curtis was employed by Great Western Coal Company in Bonanza, Sebastian Co. AR. His residence
was Jenny Lind, Sebastian Co., Ar.
May 30, 1944 Curtis enlisted in the US Marine Corps. He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received on Iwo Jima during the Pacific Campaign. He served till December 29. 1945.

Curtis Albert Hannah, Sr. passed away May 7, 1983 at Chicago, Cook, Illinois.

Funeral services Tuesday, 9 a.m. at the Schlelka Funeral Home, 7710 W. Addison St., to St. Francis Borgia Church, Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. 625-3444.
