William "Bill" Berry Hendricks
1908-1992
William Berry Hendricks was born November 18, 1908 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Andrew Lawrence & Elizabeth "Lizzie" R Rutherford Hendricks. "Bill"
married Ethel Lavon Taff of Waldron, Scott Co., Ar. August 28, 1944 in Sebastian Co., Ar.
Bill registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Fort Smith High School.
On November 17, 1943 or December 8, 1943 Bill enlisted in the US Army at Little Rock,
Arkansas. He states he is divorced. Bill served with the 748th Base Equipment
Engineers. On 26 Dec 1945 He was discharged from the military.
January 29, 1992 William Berry Hendricks passed away at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He is
buried at Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
