Milford Bishop Lairamore was born June 5, 1926 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Fay Henry Russell & Elsie Lona Tolleson Lairamore. June 21, 1946 Milford married Cloa Augusta Sparks, both residents of Fort Smith,Sebastian Co., Ar.

Milford registrated for the 1st military draft June 5, 1944 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. His service in the US Army began in December 1944 and ended October 14, 1950. He registered for the 2nd military draft March 24, 1955 at the Court House in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. The dates on the Enlistment Cards shown below is confusing and I'm not sure what all the dates there reference.

April 26, 2015 Milford Bishop Lairamore passed away at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. and is butried in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Fort Smith, Arkansas.

M.B. Lairamore, 88 of Pocola, OK passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Ft. Smith. He was born June 5, 1926 in Ft. Smith, to the late Fay Henry and Lora Elsie Lairamore.

He was a retired diesel mechanic, a protestant, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and Korea and a NRA Endowment member.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cloa Augusta "Mutt" Lairamore.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Lairamore is survived by two daughters; Gail Nelke and her husband Junior of Pocola, Joe Blackman and her husband Darrell of Eufaula, OK; two sons; Don Lairamore and his wife Linda of Pocola, and Darrell Lairamore and his wife Nicki of Pocola, his sister Martha Wilson of Pocola, and two brothers; Richard Lairamore of Pocola, and Monte Lairamore of Booneville. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and one Great, great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Lairamore, Roger Dale Lairamore, Mike Lairamore, Jeff Lairamore, Mark Wilson, and Travis Saulsberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Richison, Jess Henry, and Bill Mitchell.
