William Patrick McCrea was born June 11,1908 in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar to James "Jim" III & Lillie Ann Self McCrea. September 18, 1945 William Patrick married Mable C Gaines Connolly. Oct. 16, 1940 Patrick registered for the militatry draft at Sana Clara, Calif. He says he is living at Tulure Co., California and lists his employer's name. May 21, 1941 at Sacramento, Calif. Patrick McCrea enlisted in the US Army as a Pvt. I have not been able to find any of his military records after he enlisted. He was discharged on Oct 6, 1945. Pvt. McCrea continued to live in California after the war. He passed away in June 2000 in Columbia, Ca. and is buried beside his wife in the Columbia Public Cemetery, Columbia, Tuolumne County, Calif June 27, 2000 The Modesto Bee Modesto Calif.
