Isaac Albert Newton

Isaac Albert "Buster" Newton was born 24 Dec 1920 in Sebastian Co., Ar. to George Earl & Dora Ellen May Newton. Isaac's first marriage was to Jane Kimbraugh Nov 14, 1940. They divorced March 2, 1942. After the war on Aug 26, 1946 Isaac married Miss Jessoe Opal Williams. Isaac Newton and Frankie Lee Lemarr and were married on Aug. 15, 1970.

Isaac regristred for the military draft on Feb 16, 1942 at Fort Smith, Ar. on 7 Sep 1942 he enlisted at Little Rock. He served in the US Army Air Force until being discharged on Dec 30, 1945.










Isaac A. (Buster) Newton, 79, of Van Buren, Ark. died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000 in a local nursing home. He was a retired automotive parts salesman, a member of Windsor Park Baptist Church, Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II, 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Van Buren, Ark Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Frankie of the home; two daughters, Cynthia Theresa Jordan of Greenwood, Ark. and Deborah Lynn Griffith of Greenwood; two stepdaughters, Joyce Epperson of Rogers, Ark. and Joni Carmack of Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Albert Lee Newton and Gary Isaac Newton both of Fort Smith, Ark.; one sister, Grace Maners of Van Buren, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were Sept 5, 2000, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Sehorn Cemetery in Waldron, Ark. under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark.

Pallbearers were Gary Isaac Newton, Albert Lee Newton, Dale Epperson, Larry Carmack, Sam Jordan, Curtis Massey.
