Arthur William Noffsinger was born 6 Nov 1912 in Muhlenberg, Kentucky to Oscar H & Rena Mastin Noffsinger. Arthur William is often referred to as William Arthur in many records.
On 19 May 1941 Arthur married Mrs. Ada Rowena Clark Meek. of Bonanza, Ar. Rowena was divorced from her first husband Samuel Walker Meek after 10 years.

13 Mar 1942 Arthur enlisted in the US Army, 120th Engineer Combat Battalion, 45th Infantry Division. On his enlistment records he says his Level of Education was Grammar school and his occupation Farm hands, general farms work. He states he is divorced without dependents. (I have not been able to find a marriage before Rowena)
