Brookshire Samuel Pinkerton was born May 16, 1916 in Fort Smith,
Sebastian Co., Ar. to John Andrew & Maude Brookshire Pinkerton.
July 16, 1938 Brookshire married Ruth Elizabeth Pearson of Bonanza.
January 29, 1952 Brookshire and Ruth were divorced. He was residing
in Sebastian Co., Ar. and she in Bartelsville, Ok. They had been
separated for 3 years.
Brooks registered for the draft October 16, 1940 at Bonanza, Sebastian Co., Ar.
He states that he has a tattoo on both arms.
He enlistment with the US Army on June 12, 1945 and was discharge July 26, 1946,
No more information has been found about his service.
Brookshire Samuel Pinkerton passed away November 8, 1981 and
is buried in The Macedonia Cemetery at Pocola, Le Flore County, Okla.
He shares the marker with Clemmie Spangle Pinkerton,1921-1987.
Clemmie was married more than 1 time always with her birth name of
Spangle.
