Walter Wayne Pogue was born June 16, 1919 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Walter Franklin & Emma Jane Holland Pogue. April 1942 he
married Jessie Pauline Spencer in San Franciso, California. She never remarried
after his death. She is buried in the Ft Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith,
Arkansas by his memorial marker there.

Walter Wayne Pogue was killed in action April 13, 1944 over Leige, Belgium,
3 months after he arrived in England.
