He grew up in Beverly Twsp., Sebastian Co., Ar. He married Ila Faye Worman. No date for that marriage has been found. Leroy enlisted in the US Army January 11, 1945 at Camp Josepth T. Robinson at Little Rock, Arkansas. No discharge date has been found. Leroy passed away October 8, 1991 at Kern County, California. His burial was in Searles Valley Cemetery at Trona, San Bernardino Co., California.
