Jerry Maurice Lee Rhyne was born November 26, 1923 at Huntington, Sebastian
Co., Ar. to James Ivan & Ava Carolyn Ross Rhyne.
September 15, 1947 Jerry married Eva Jo Whyman in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., Calif.
September 30, 1968 Jerry and Eva Jo were divorced in Jackson County, Oregon where
Eva Jo was living.
The date that Jerry registered for the military draft is not given on
his records. He was living at 11 1/2 No. 18th St., at Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co., Ar. He was working at Swift & Co., Ice Cream Div. in Tulsa, Okla.
Jerry fought in both WWII and Korean War. He enlisted in the US
Army January 20, 1943, no location given, and was released October 16, 1945.
September 11, 1950 he again enlisted in the US Army and was released August 7,
1951.
Jerry died in August 1985 in Seal Beach, California. It's not known where
he was buried.
