Roy Paul Williams was born February 27, 1924 in Sebastian County, Arkansas to Clarence Alexander and Bertie Dove Hanks Williams. June 11, 1943 Roy married Catherine Dreculla Bean in Logan County, Ar. They both resided in Bonanza, Sebastian Co., Ar. Roy registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 in Sebastian County, Ar. He enlisted January 4, 1946 at Fort Smith, Ar. in the Air Corps. This is the only mention of the Air Corps for him. All other papers just say Army. His discharge date was February 13, 1947. Roy Paul Williams passed away November 3, 1984 and was buried in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Hackett, Sebastian Co., Ar.
