Foster Cleveland Young was born Aug 31, 1920 in Crawford or Sebastian Co.,
Arkansas to James Cleveland and Rebecca Anna Foster Young.
He says on his draft registertion card he is married but I have not
been able to find a marriage for him.
Foster registered for the draft on Feb 16, 1942 at Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co., Ar. He was assigned to the 300th Engineer Combat Battalion.
At that time he said he had one year of college and his civil occupation
was a Stock clerk.
While serving on June 19th 1944 Cpl. Foster C. Young was killed
in the line of duty. His name is listed on the Tablets of the Missing
at Normandy American Cemetery.
