John Franklin James was born September 10, 1909 in Paris, Lamar Co., Texas to John Henry & Lula Elizabeth Fallon James. September 30, 1949 he married Wilma Catherine Spain in Waldron, Scott Co., Ar. She was age 23 and he 40. Both John and Wilma were residents of Hartford, Sebastian Co. Ar. October 24, 1942 John enlisted in the US Army. He had the rank of Pfc with the SVC Comand Unit. His discharge date was September 2, 1943. No more information about his service has been found. John Franklin James passed away August 23, 1970 in Hartford, Sebastian Co., Ar. and is buried in Hartford Memorial Park Cemetery in Sebastian Co., Ar.
