Loyd Morton Boyd was born Nov. 16, 1922 in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Thomas J. & Alta Craft Boyd. June 18, 1953 Loyd married
Lois O. Loyd in Reno, Nevada. His residence was San Deigo, Ca. and she
lived in Reno.
Jun 30, 1942 Loyd registered for the military draft in Samta Ana. California.
He lists his older brother Glenn as a contact. Nov 7, 1942 Loyd enlisted in the
Army Air Corps. as a private, at Los Angeles, Calif. giving Orange, California as his
residence. The only other thing that is known about his military time is that he was
discharged Dec 17, 1945.
Loyd Morton Boyd passed away Feb 12, 1996 and was buried in Rose Lawn Park Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Ar.
