Mrs. Winsett, wife of Paul Winsett, a hack driver in the employ of Wm. Schulte, last Friday attempted to kill herself by taking rough-on-rats. Shortly after she had taken the dose her condition was discovered and medical aid was summoned, which saved her life. Mrs. Winsett and her husband had quarrelled, and she took a does of rough-on-rats under the belief that it would cause her husband to be more considerate in his behavior.
