John W. Pool Killed in Gin Last Saturday Morning.

Waldron was greatly surprised last Saturday (Dec 23) to learn that John W. Pool who owns and operates a gin seven miles north of Waldron on the Boothe Road, was caught in a gin saw and had his arm almost torn from his body and bruised and cut to such an extent as to cause death from loss of blood a few hours afterward.

Mr. Pool was a good man and a useful citizen and will be greatly missed in his community. He leaves a wife and two children, one being a daughter who is married to Ed Smith of Boothe.

Mr. Pool stood well with his neighbors and with the business men of Waldron who greatly regret his untimely death. He was about 47 years of age.
